I'm a massive Bowie fan and have long believed in the power of game engines to create mind-blowing performances that could exist beyond reality. In 2017 I wanted to prove what I knew was possible so we started on the first iteration of our real-time avatar of Bowie. This caught the attention of Bowie's guitarist and music director, Carlos Alomar, who introduced me to Bowie's manager, Bill Zysblat. Epic Games awarded the project two Mega Grants which funded pioneering work in real-time 'live' performance and a real-time immersive recreation of Bowie's 1973 performance as Ziggy Stardust.
