Writing Call Of Duty  changed my life! I had just won the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting, the biggest screenwriting competition in the world, with an action thriller about private security contractors in Iraq. Sledgehammer Games loved that script and hired me to bring a new level of cinematic storytelling to the franchise. I never imagined I’d be writing for video games but this opened the door to pioneering storytelling using video game technology in XR and movies. It was the best education I could’ve had in real-time digital characters, immersive environments and performance capture. Everything I've done in the last decade stems for my experience on the game.
